The condominium units are individually owned. Each Unit Owner owns his\/her unit and an undivided share of the common areas.\u00a0 Completed in 1970s, Hallmark was later converted into condominium in 1980. It typi\ufb01ed the genteel, middle-class, mid-rise brick-facing building which had become fashionable in the newly-developed mid-Cambridge during the 1970s and early 1980s. It also boasted such amenities as garage parking, elevator, laundry room and roof deck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nOur Neighborhood<\/h3>\n<\/h2>\n\nMid-Cambridge<\/strong>, also known as \u201cArea 6\u201d, is a neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts.\u00a0 The area is a large, high-density residential neighborhood with around 13,000 residents, bordered by Prospect Street to the east, Kirkland Street to the west and Massachusetts Ave. to the south and the City of Somerville to the north. Major commercial centers lie at three corners of the neighborhood: Central Square, Harvard Square, and Inman Square. Many Harvard University and MIT denizens make up Mid-Cambridge\u2019s population. These residents, whether they are homeowners or renters, have a profound effect on the enclave\u2019s cultural and social identity, as well as economic development.\u00a0 As a result, mid-Cambridge is known for its eclectic collection and wide variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\nTransit\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Both Central Square and Harvard Square serve as major transit stations for the Hallmark residents. Massachusetts Avenue, which connects the two squares, is a major travel route and commercial spine. Hallmark Condominium is conveniently located near the public transportation. The closest subway stop to the building is the Red Line Central Square stop on Massachusetts Avenue between Prospect Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
